Jamie Bell

Jamie grew up in Ayrshire and graduated from Edinburgh Vet School in 2011. He worked in mixed practice in Ayrshire for two years before focusing on small animal work. Having a strong interest in eyes, three years of additional study culminated in the successful completion of the BSAVA Postgraduate Certificate in Small Animal Ophthalmology in April 2019. 

Jamie enjoys all aspects of small animal practice but, since moving to MBM in 2019, he enjoys being able to take referral eye cases and the challenges that they bring. He is married to Frankie, a vet nurse, and they have a Patterdale terrier, two cats and two guinea pigs. 

When not looking at eyes, Jamie unwinds by heading out for a nice meal and going to the cinema.
