Farm and Equine Out of Hours Emergencies

Out of hours farm and equine emergencies are dealt with by our own vets and you will always get an equine vet for equine emergencies or a farm vet for farm emergencies. Call any of our branch numbers and follow the instructions. Kernow, our answering service, will take your details and contact the appropriate duty vet who will respond. Please make sure you are available on the phone number you give and please keep the line free.

Pet Emergencies

If your pet has as an acute emergency at any time please call us, even if you’re on the way, so we Pet Emergenciescan be ready to meet you on arrival.

Out of hours small animal emergency and hospital care is provided on site at our Kilmarnock branch by Vets Now. When your usual branch is closed, your call will be answered by a Vets Now qualified vet nurse who can give free advice or arrange an emergency consultation at Kilmarnock if required. 

Vets Now has a regular, small team of vets and vet nurses who have special interests in emergency and critical care medicine. They provide constant overnight care for hospitalised animals so you can be reassured that your sick pet is not left alone at any time during the night. Your pet’s MBM clinical record is available to Vets Now so they have full details of any previous or current treatments, ensuring the best of care for your pet.
