Nicola began her MBM career early in 2016, initially working between the Mauchline reception team and the large animal office at our Kilmarnock surgery. Keen to pursue her dream of becoming a veterinary nurse, she carried out her training placement here at our Mauchline practice and successfully qualified from SRUC Barony Campus in November 2018 (and was top of her class, we’re proud to say! – Ed). We’re delighted that she has stayed on to work full time with us since then.
Nicola enjoys all aspects of nursing, in particular running nurse clinics and pet weight management, as well as anaesthesia and lab work.
Outside of work, she enjoys baking and walking her Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier, Monty.
