Alex graduated from the Royal Veterinary College (University of London) in 2015, having also obtained an intercalated BSc (Hons) degree in Bioveterinary Science in 2012. Moving to Scotland, he started his working career as a mixed animal vet for three and a half years before joining us here at MBM in March 2019. Now focussing on small animals, he is working between our Mauchline and Beith branches.
Alex’s main interests include small animal medicine (particularly endocrine cases) and surgery, and he looks forward to meeting all clients and their furry friends! Having an interest in farm animals as well means that he is also very happy to see any of these that come to the surgery.
In his spare time, you can often find him running around the streets of Kilmarnock or at a parkrun. It goes without saying, as a patriotic Welshman, that he loves watching rugby and is a big fan of the Six Nations - come on Wales!
