Sarah McIlroy

Sarah was brought up in Elgin, in the North East of Scotland, and graduated from Glasgow University Vet School in 2017. She worked for eighteen months as a small animal vet near Loch Lomond, before joining us at MBM in January 2019.

Sarah enjoys all areas of veterinary medicine and has a keen interested in small animal internal medicine. 
Outside of work, Sarah’s hobbies include baking and walking. She has a very cute Jack Russell x Corgi dog called Lucy, whom she acquired not long after starting her first job - a hazard of the veterinary workplace! Sarah says Lucy is thoroughly spoiled, and after a long walk on the beach there is nothing she enjoys better than cuddling up in her extensive collection of beds and blankets!
