James Wallace

Jamie graduated from Glasgow University Veterinary School in 1998 with a focus on equine practice and marine mammals. After 18 months in mixed practice in his native Aberdeenshire, he moved to equine practice in Yorkshire doing first opinion equine practice and referral dentistry. During this time, he completed his ESVPS certificate in equine practice. He moved to MBM in 2004 and then completed his RCVS certificate in equine internal medicine, later becoming an RCVS recognised advanced practitioner in equine internal medicine and developing a cardiology, oncology, and ophthalmology referral service. Jamie has a keen interest in clinical research including equine clinical parasitology, ophthalmology, gastro-enterology, and disease surveillance. He is also an examiner for the RCVS veterinary clinical examination group. During his spare time Jamie enjoys walking his two Labradors and teaching martial arts.
